Yeovil ShopMobility is a small non-profit charity dedicated to promoting the welfare and independence of individuals with limited mobility due to age, disability or illness. Our mission is to foster an open and inclusive society by ensuring that everyone, regardless of mobility limitations, can participate fully in community life. We achieve this by offering a hire service for powered mobility equipment, including scooters and wheelchairs, for both short-term and long-term use. Established in 2006 to support those in need, our organization is a vital resource that helps users maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. Through our services, we aim to create a more integrated and supportive community where everyone has the opportunity to lead fulfilling lives.

Yeovil ShopMobility is affiliated to ShopMobility UK, however, as with all ShopMobility centres the following applies:-

This Yeovil ShopMobility scheme is managed independently of any other operating centre, and is supported by a dedicated team of Volunteers, overseen by a local board of Trustees that is responsible for its day-to- day affairs and funding.

 

Yeovil ShopMobility is an accredited Disability Confident Employer. As a Disability Confident Employer we:
